About me
My name is Lisa Gray. I live and write and mother and form my opinions
in beautiful Winona, MN, a smallish town along the Mississippi River.
About the title of this blog
When I started this blog as a container for my writing, I needed a name and the word Restless kept
popping into my brain. For as long as I can remember, I have always
felt a bit unsettled. I used to look at it as a bad thing, but now
(finally!) I understand restlessness keeps me curious, passionate, and
involved in my world. When I don't like what I see or simply do not
understand it, I write and speak out in order to create meaning from my
confusion. And because there is always so much happening in this world,
there always seems to be something that fuels my restless spirit. My
last name
Gray just happens to tie in well with my general belief
that things are rarely black and white. And finally, despite being
happily in my forties, I hope to always retain the spirit of a fearless
Girl setting out to conquer her world. It all fits quite nicely, don't you think?
So, do you ever feel frustrated by your pace? Maybe it's just me being a slow learner, but I am finally getting into what seems to be a groove that works for me. Let me know what you think!
ReplyDeleteYour words flow. They tell stories. They are not hurried but they generate insight. Writing to the inner self is not an easy task but you do it well.
